Meet Dan Bowersock

YES…I am one of the few, the proud who actually grew-up here on the Seven Mile Island (Avalon/Stone Harbor)! I attended Avalon Public School, Wildwood Catholic High School and the University of South Florida. Upon graduating college, I immediately obtained my real estate license in 1989 and began renting & selling real estate in Avalon/Stone Harbor! In 2003, after hundreds of hours of experience and study, I obtained a “GRI” Designation (Graduate Realtor Institute) from the NJ Association of Realtors – the GRI Designation is earned after extensive study in real estate issues ranging from financing & appraisals to marketing & ethics.  In 2004, I obtained my Broker’s Real Estate License after nearly 300 hours of additional study! I have been extremely fortunate to work with a First Class team of dedicated real estate agents and assistants. The Ferguson Dechert Team works well together – we willingly share information & suggestions with the goal of helping each other to better assist our clients & customers…this is a MAJOR difference I’ve witnessed between our office and the competition! Our “Think Tank” atmosphere ultimately results in SUCCESS for my clients & customers! And your success is my success! Every year since 1995, our sales team has been the top-producing agency in Avalon/Stone Harbor, and I am proud to consistently be one of the top-producing realtors in Avalon/Stone Harbor and within the Top 1% in the entire County!. She graduated from the Univ of Maryland’s Honor College and works here in Cape May County as a social worker. My son Daniel joined our Team in 2019 as a Customer Service Liaison and since graduating from the Univ of Tampa in 2021, he joined our Team Full Time as a Sales & Rental consultant. <<

Dan Jr. graduated from the Univ of Tampa in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He started his Real Estate Career as a Customer Service Rep for our Rental Team, which helped him to learn the business "from the ground up". Since graduating, Dan joined the Team as a full-time Sales & Rental Consultant. He quickly excelled as an agent and given his passion for the investment side of Real Estate, Dan has already purchased investment properties! As a child, Greg spent his summers in Avalon. As time marched on, Greg joined the family’s insurance business and eventually took reins of the business; ultimately guiding it to become one of the largest insurance firms in the Philadelphia area. Over the years, Greg also studied the real estate market in Avalon - a natural choice, as Avalon was the town that served as the foundation of so many fond memories during his childhood! Greg’s interest and study led to the purchase of his personal home in Avalon, which he has enjoyed for many years with his wife and two sons. Greg also made a significant investment of time and money in Avalon’s real estate market; quarterbacking the acquisition, construction and sale of many homes. Linda is known as a top producing, skillful negotiating agent with 30+ years of expertise in both the legal and real estate industries, over 400 units sold and has done over $330 million in volume. Her success has rooted solely because she loves what she does and treats every transaction as if it was her own. Ever since a very young age, Linda had a very unusual, unexplained interest in real estate. As an adult she ventured into the legal field as an administrator for a law firm for fifteen years. That experience provided her with a very broad education regarding legal contracts and client relations. Meet Nick Avicolli

Nick was born in Philadelphia, PA. When Nick was an infant, his parents purchased a summer cottage in Cape May; and after a year of commuting back and forth, his family decided to plant their roots in Cape May full time. Nick graduated from Lower Township High School where he was an all honors/AP student; and he started college pursuing a degree in physics. During Summer break; Nick began working at Ferguson Dechert Real Estate as a Customer Service liaison. This experience has proven to be a valuable asset, as Nick was challenged with resolving a wide array of issues that tend to make people unhappy. The issues ranged all the way from challenges with high-tech “Smart TVs” and interrupted cable & WiFi service…to clogged sinks & toilets and malfunctioning air conditioning systems! Armed with a ton of “on the job training and acquired street-smarts”, and with a desire to take his career to the next level, in 2018 Nick obtained his real estate license and began working as Dan’s Rental Assistant. Nick’s hands-on experience of viewing many properties, resolving issues and diffusing tense situations with a calm demeanor has been a huge asset for our Team!

There is a wide array of ingredients to a successful Closing, and it can be very stressful to manage the many moving and integrated parts. Nick dedicates the majority of his time to making sure that our customers & clients have a smooth transaction. In doing so, once the sale agreement is signed, Nick proactively maps-out a path forward so that our customer/client is well-informed in advance and thus easily able to meet upcoming important “performance dates”. Liam grew-up spending summers in Avalon/Stone Harbor since 1997. He joined Ferguson Dechert Real Estate in the summer of 2018 as our summer Rental Manager. If you have rented with us over the past few summers, you may have met Liam when coming to pick-up your keys! Liam grew-up in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, and attended the Salesianum School in Wilmington, Delaware. Following High School, Liam studied business management at Washington College on the Eastern shore of Maryland while playing in the Men’s Lacrosse Program. After graduation in the spring of 2021, his passion for real estate and love of the Island led him to obtain his NJ Real Estate license to continue his career here at Ferguson Dechert Real Estate! After a 38 year career in Wealth Management, Joe joined the Dan Bowersock group at Ferguson Dechert.
His love of Seven Mile Island began when he honeymooned with his wife at the Windrift Hotel. Joe and Elaine continued to rent each summer and invested in several properties over the years. Today they call Avalon their home. Joe earned his BA in Economics from Rutgers University and his MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. At Janney Montgomery Scott, Joe’s Wealth Management practice was client-centric oriented. Experienced Sales Professional with nearly 2 decades of the Cape May County lifestyle under my belt.  Originally from Delaware County, Pennsylvania, the town of Avalon and the "Jersey Shore" had quickly become my second home, but the first place in my heart at a very young age.  What started as a summer vacation in the 90's turned into a love and passion for the rest of my life.  My parents were long time Avalon home owners in multiple locations on the 7 Mile Island.  Reflecting back on what has gotten me here today, I remain grateful for the opportunity to live, work and meet my husband in such a gorgeous and friendly community.  What really made me come full circle was seeing my two kids, Taylor and Kane, show the same love and appreciation for a town that means so much to me.  Let my personal and professional experience give you not only the home, but the community of your dreams! <<
